So, my name is Cayce Murphy and I go to Louisiana Tech University. We just had Spring break or some know it as quarter break, and sadly it was only one week long.
I was thinking about life today though and I realized how fast it flies by. It seems like just yesterday I started here at Tech, yet it was just about two years ago when I first moved up here. Crazy! I don't know how life can pass by so quickly one day and then the next day just drag by as if it were ten years. Anyways, yesterday I got off work early, so I was just hanging out with some of my friends, well I was crossing the street at probably one of the busiest intersections on campus and the cars were stopped on the right side of the road, nothing was coming from the left, but the little orange hand was still up on the walk signal...well, nothing was coming and what was, was stopped...so I started walking across the road. As I got about half way across the road I noticed that the cars that were stopped actually had a green light and they were intending to use it. Well, one car started to go, so I made a dash for it. I made it onto the sidewalk, but was not looking out where I was going and almost ran into a telephone pole. Hmmm....
After I realized that there was a phone pole two inches from my face, I turned away from it and started walking down the sidewalk. I looked back at the white four runner that was full of smokin' hott girls and they started honking and laughing and yelling, then sped off. Wow.
That is all I could say. I was just glad when the white four runner was out of sight.
Life was good once again.
